This folder contains a statement by Senator Inouye before the subcommittee on Public Buildings and Grounds House Committee on Public Works and Transportation. The statement urges the Administrator of the General Services Administration to investigate the need to build a new federal building in UH-Hilo for a building for the Institute of Astronomy and Sciences. The new buildings on Hawai'i Island can allow the relocation of certain IFA programs from the Manoa campus to Hawai'i Island to allow the Manoa campus to use the buildings for the University's astronomy activities.
