This folder contains materials related to the internment camps, a list of places internees had come from, along with the various things internees did day to day and a list of places where internees were released. This folder also holds materials detailing the experiences of internees (Japanese, Italian, and German), the role of the United States in the internment of enemy aliens, and overviews of various exhibits related to interning of those of Japanese descent in the U.S. There are also materials related to the Commission on Wartime Relocation and Internment of Latin Americans of Japanese Descent Act, the Japanese Peruvian Oral History Project, various publications with information on the ways that internees were exchanged with hostages held by the Japanese during WWII, explanations for internment, wartime policies of the U.S. Government, redress and statistics on Latin American Japanese who were apprehended, and countries or origin of internees who were deported and interned in the United States.
