Letter to Assistant Secretary of War John J. McCloy from the Chairman of the Subcommittee to Investigate War Relocation Centers requesting Mr. McCloy's written or in person comments and conclusions on the use of "Japanese troops" and the registration of Japanese citizens of military age. Enclosed is a meeting report of the committee summarizing several key points after inspection of six relocation centers and also including some statistics on Japanese Americans in the centers, employees on the payroll, leaves granted from the centers and number of Japanese persons who were not evacuated from the West Coast.
