Memorandum to Captain John M. Hall, Office of the Assistant Secretary of War from 1st Lieutenant Eugene Bogard, Manzanar Relocation Center, enclosing summary reports on the problems encountered during the registration of male citizens at the relocation center. One report includes a summary of observations on the registration made by the Army Team (reasons for answering "no" or "yes" to the loyalty question, reasons for scarcity of volunteers for the combat team, etc.); and a second report is a summary of reasons given by a representative committee of residents for answers to the loyalty question.
