Attached is a reply letter to Mr. Moise from Mr. McCloy thanking Mr. Moise for his correspondence; the earlier letter from Mr. Moise to Mr. McCloy expressing approval of the War Department policy towards loyal American citizens of Japanese ancestry with enclosed copies of a letter sent to General DeWitt, Western Defense Command, signed by 20 citizens of California and a letter sent to U.S. Senator Robert Reynolds by Mr. Moise, both of which relate to war relocation centers and treatment of loyal Japanese American citizens.
