| dc.description.abstract | This poster highlights the results of an internship project completed during the summer of 2016 for Smithsonian Libraries Digital Programs and Initiatives Division, utilizing OpenRefine to reconcile VIAF.org identifiers in an effort to link library data to standardized identifiers. Linked Data promotes the sharing of information through harnessing the power of the Semantic Web and can enable cultural heritage organizations to better share their collections and engage users with added findability and accessibility via the Web. | |
