NOT OCRed. This folder holds correspondence, laws, and other materials relating to the Model Cities Program in Hawai'i. There is also correspondence from citizens and groups, such as the Papakolea Community Association, who oppose S. 1832 due to its potential impact on the provisions of the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act. There is also material on the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act, concerns over Hawaiian homes leases, and a petition against the Model Cities Planning Grant from homesteaders living in the Nanakuli Homestead area.
