Letter from Colonel Virgil Miller, Commander of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team to Assistant Secretary of War John J. McCloy requesting assistance in dealing with the rejection of Japanese American soldiers who have attempted to join the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Included are the letter of rejection from the Veterans of Foreign Wars to PFC Richard Naito, as well as correspondence between PFC Naito, his colleagues, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
