McCloy, on desert training and combined arms training and the need for near actual war training for a division in desert country. Attached is a memorandum for Mr. McCloy from General McNair, on a training school for combined arms proposed in an earlier draft memo by Mr. McCloy; also attached is what appears to be the memorandum by Mr. McCloy on the training school for combined arms. Note: The first page of this memorandum is missing, but it looks like it is probably found in Folder 11, item 11 ("Memorandum for the Chief of Staff, Army War College from the Assistant Secretary of War").
