This folder contains the final report of the Kaho'olawe Island Conveyance Commission to the U.S. Congress. This report looks at the history of Kaho'olawe, along with its cultural importance in Hawai'i, as well as the history of land tenure on Kaho'olawe from ancient Hawai'i to the naval use of Kaho'olawe. There are also tables depicting the budget to environmentally restore Kaho'olawe and plans, or suggestions to enact the restoration plan to remove ordnance from the island. Public opinion on the use of Kaho'olawe by the U.S. Navy are also considered, along with the environmental evaluation of Kaho'olawe.
