Description

This folder contains a report on plans for utilization and on the feasibility and cost of clearing the island of Kaho'olawe of unexploded ordnance. There are also letters from members of the U.S. Navy regarding working together with the people of Hawai'i to find solutions in order to preserve the archaeological sites of Kaho'olawe, along with a list of training exercises and future actions of the Navy regarding use of Kaho'olawe. Besides letters on naval activity on Kaho'olawe, there are letters regarding protests against RIMPAC (Rim of the Pacific maritime exercises), which involve the bombing of Kaho'olawe.
