This folder holds materials related to the Hawaiian Healthcare Act, Indian Education Act, Health Maintenance organizations (HMO), HMO legislation, and to amending various legislation regarding Native American healthcare, Federal services for Native Americans and possible legislation to include Native Hawaiians. There is also information on certain kinds of health maintenance organizations and the budgets for these organizations. Also included are the breakdowns of various kinds of family budgets based on family ages, income levels, etc., and a communicable disease report for the year 1972, with warnings of current outbreaks, a list of various diseases, and statistics of the population who were affected by those diseases.
