Abstract
‘Savaş Dönüşü’ is a mimeograph magazine produced by the first troops of the Türkiye Brigade deployed in the Korean War. USNS General C.C. returned from Korea to Turkiye in September and October 1951. Turkiye forces aboard Ballou (T-AP-157) carried news from their homeland heard on the warship's radio and reports on the progress of the Korean War. In addition, it contains news from other cities such as Tokyo and London, eulogies describing and honoring the circumstances of the death of fallen comrades, anecdotes from warships, humorous stories, and inspiring quotes from religious figures.
