This series of letters were written by youth from Farrington High School and Kamehameha School Kapalama Campus after they were informed, through the Land is Life Campaign, about the attacks on the students, teachers, and administrators of the Alternative Learning Center for Agriculture and Livelihood Development (ALCADEV) and TRIFPSS (Tribal Filipino Program of Lianga Surigao del Sur) in Mindanao, Philippines. These letters document the reaction of immigrant Filipino and Kanaka Maoli students to the experiences of the ALCADEV and TRIFPSS students.
