Abstract

Description

Two seemingly unrelated memos are enclosed in this file. The first, from John M. Hall to Colonel Walker, refers to Frank Tanabe's appeal to join the Army despite his Alien status. The second, from John M. Hall to Colonel Gibson, discusses the large number of Nisei doctors and dentists who wish to join the Army, but are presently excluded. It references an attachment from Dr. Taniguchi, which is not included in this file.
