This folder contains a letter from the Secretary of the Navy relating to the use of inert and live ordnance on Kaho'olawe. In this letter, the Secretary of the Navy discusses the importance of Kaho'olawe to the people of Hawai'i as a place in need of historical preservation, and also talks of the importance Kaho'olawe for military training. There is also a list of present and future uses of various types of ordnance, along with a presentation on how the Navy will maximize the use of inert quiet ordnance with minimum ecological impacts when training naval forces.
