Abstract
Description
Transcript of a conversation between Colonel William P. Scobey, Executive to Assistant Secretary of War, and Lieutenant William L. Tracy of Central Utah Relocation Center. It is revealed that a resolution was written by the Japanese Americans at Topaz directed at Henry L. Stimson, Secretary of War, asking for restoration of rights and be allowed to join the Army freely. Scobey states there will be no appeasement and that the Japanese Americans can choose their own fate by deciding to either support or resist the U.S. government.
