Abstract

The goal of the program is to promote literacy and a love of reading in children, introduce them to a college campus, give Leeward CC students hands-on experience working with children and implementing activities, showcase the library as a collaborative space with valuable resources, and educate. Learn about the implementation of this program, what impact it had on involved parties, and how we plan to proceed in the future.
