Ariyoshi related to the Hawai'i State Advisory Council on Vocational Education. Materials in this folder cover employment training systems for vocational education and state funds used to fund research in utilizing alternative energy sources in Hawai'i such as: geothermal energy, wind energy, and solar energy. A statement by Governor Ariyoshi is also included in this folder with information on H.R. 6154, the Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion Act of 1980 (OTEC), including Hawai'i's history, or position related to OTEC.
