Description

A carbon copy of the original memorial address Yost wrote for the Hilo Memorial ceremony in 1983. Yost wrote again about his feelings regarding the treatment of the Japanese-American soldiers and their families during the war, and how it should not have happened in this democracy. He wrote an apology to them for their treatment at the hands of the government.
