Description

This folder contains copies of the Civil Liberties Act of 1988 and new amendments that are to be added, or edited in 1992. This folder also includes talking points for press secretaries on S. 1009, which implemented the recommendations of the Commission on Wartime Relocation and Internment of Civilians. There are also sponsorship documents for bills, concerns for the state of Hawai'i like youth gangs and processing delays at Honolulu International Airport, and a comparison of bills authorizing redress payments to Japanese Americans in FY 1993.
