Scale 1:840,000 (E 114⁰--E 136⁰/N 53⁰--N 42⁰). 1 map : color, linen ; 171 x 186 cm. Relief shown by gradient tints. Includes inset map titled 東三省及其他各領土略圖, Dōng sānshěng jí qítā gè lǐngtǔ lüètú, "A sketch map of three Eastern provinces and other territories" (scale 1:6,300,000). Printed at the beginning of the Chinese Civil War by the Eastern Railway Economic Survey Bureau. The map displays the territory of Manchuria where the foreign influence dominated. The key feature of this map is the Chinese Eastern Railway which was at the center of a clash of interests between China and the Soviet Union. The railways are shown in Manchuria, Japan, Korea and a part of the USSR. Sea routes are indicated on the smaller-scale map.
