Attached is a letter from the Secretary of War to the Secretary of Commerce providing for the issuance of airman identification cards to American-born Japanese and "naturalized citizens of enemy alien descent" and procedures to be followed for this; and a letter of reply from Colonel Scobey of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War to a George Maruyama of Granada Relocation Center in regards to his apparent interest in serving as a pilot in the armed forces.
