Abstract
Description
This folder contains a speech given by Senator Daniel K. Inouye for the Hawaii Congress of Elected Officials regarding the status of the sugar industry in that the cost of loans for sugar has been decreasing, its need being challenged by high fructose corn syrup in combination with the failure to renew the Sugar Act, and the need to increase the sugar loan in response to that.
