Scale approximately 1:15,000, (E 129°53ʹ--E 129°53ʹ/N32°45ʹ--N32°45ʹ). 1 map : hand colored, copper engraving ; 19.5 x 33.5 cm. Shows the town and port of Nagasaki in detail. Names of places are labeled including the Temple, the Chinese port, the guards' quarters, the entrance to the port and the armory. Relief shown pictorially. North oriented towards lower left. Bottom right of plate: "No. 8. Tome X. Page 533." Compass rose, cartouche, and water marks. Printed beneath title inside the cartouche is a key for the various structures on the map including the prison, the custom house and other government buildings.
