Marianas Variety

These digital versions of the Marianas Variety were produced via two separate projects. Issues from 1972 through 1986 were scanned from hard-copy newspapers via a project funded by the University of Hawaii-Manoa Library. This work was completed in 2016. Issues from 1987 through 1999 were digitized from microfilm via an earlier project funded by the Northern Marianas Humanities Council. Not all issues or pages of the newspaper were available for digitizing; in cases where issues/pages are known to be missing, this information has been included in the holdings information for individual volumes (i.e. publication years) of the paper. This missing-issue information is currently only available for the years 1987-1999.
