Abstract
The Board of Land and Natural Resources designated a 4,108 acre area on the Southwest Rift of Haleakala as a geothermal subzone. To inform the public about geothermal development and its potential effects on Maui, a seminar was held on August 15, 1985, at the Kahului Library Conference Room at 6:30 pm. Includes meeting agenda, memorandum for the record, sign in sheets, community statements, new releases, public hearing procedure, and handwritten meeting notes.
