dcterms.abstractThe International Waikiki Hula Conference (IWHC) provided people from around the globe an authentic space to learn about hula. HPS was a long-time partner in the effort and brought diverse enrichment programming to the annual gathering. This talk-story was the last formal program Auntie Nona did with HPS before her passing. All of HPS’s many programs at the IWHC (between 2009-2015) were documented by our team and are accessible through the Archive.
